SUMAD - Speak Up and Make a Difference

Speak Up and Make a Difference (SUMAD) is a programme for people with learning disabilities.

SUMAD helps people to;

• know themselves better
• gain the confidence to 'speak up'
• understand how to make change happen
• understand how teams work.

SUMAD gives people opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in an interactive and relaxing environment that helps to build self-confidence so that they can stand up for their rights and take greater control of their lives.
